Everyone has their own opinion, but I feel I know where he's going - Yes it most definitely time to stop climbing the megapixel ladder and have a look at ADR/HDR solution and ISO sensitivities. Canon's megapixel madness has pushed me to Nikon - I'm sure I'm not the only one.

I couldn't resist, with the F31fd being legendary for compact ISO performance, I had to get the new F60fd for myself. It's fantastic. I'll start with the downer: the LCD screen is a bit poop compared to the canon compacts - but good enough - You don't really see the quality of the image until you upload.

Apart from that, this is a smart piece of kit. ISO 6400?? My 5D doesn't do that, at 9 x the price...

I feel completely neutral. I was overjoyed, then I was slumped in depression. Now I am neutral. No really!

I have to prepare an equipment portfolio that is capable of natural light photo-journalistic photos with minimum budget. Oh - and whilst I am a half Nikonian, I will attempt not to be biased.

I recent went to Portugal and took about 1000 pics on my D40. Before that I took about a 500 at my brothers registry and another 1000 or so at associated wedding related events. loading everything onto my lightroom took a while. I didn't mind as It's always been worth the wait to see what damage can be done in the Lightroom developing module.

Being I vegetarian, I have had to go to some extremes to grow and maintain the little muscle I have. Apart from diet, a heavy duty weight training regime was required. My brother in law recently asked to have the basics sketched out in an email - unlike me, he eats proper food so he's growing fast!

He then popped the program into spread and sent it back. I have filled in notes on muscle groups and left it public. At least I can just point to it now.
